FAQs

1.  "What does ProPatch look like?" The pre-production ProPatch prototype can be viewed on the product image page.  Soon, there will be a pallet of available colors.

2.  "How big is the ProPatch?"  The device measures approximately one inch wide, three inches long, and 1/8 inch thick, and wrapped in a soft silicone coat.

3.  "How is ProPatch attached?"  A 'peel and place', band-aid-like adhesive, humidity resistant and hypoallergenic, is used for ProPatch and PRO2J.  A single adhesive layer can be used for a couple of hours or practice cycles before a new layer exposed for use.

4.  "How do I use ProPatch?"  Apply the device to the leading or forward wrist before swing or putting practice.  Align the ProPatch across the back of the wrist joint at a 90 degree angle to the crease, its length in line with the forearm. Approximately half of the device should be below the wrist crease (on the back of the hand), and half above the crease (on the back of the lower arm).

5.  "How do I turn ProPatch on?"  Simply depress the power push button.  A pre-programmed 5 minute cycle is turned on.  The cycle cannot be stopped. At the end of this time period, the device will automatically turn off. To start a new training cycle, press the on button.

6.  "How do I know that the device is working?"  Once powered up by pressing the button, the LED light will show a slow light pulse.  When the wrist is moved beyond the pre-programmed angle for correct wrist positions at takeaway, backswing, or impact, the LED pulse light will rapidly blink with a vibration sensation (like a cell phone message alert). When the wrist positions return to proper angles, the LED light and vibration tickle will power down, once again showing a slow LED light pulse.
